Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 400 grams sourdough bread (split garlic sourdough, cut into quarters)
  • 60 grams mixed greens (salad leaves)
  • 50 grams sliced salami
  • 1 whole tomato (sliced)
  • 1/4 cup basil leaves
  • 125 grams fresh ricotta cheese (crumbled)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat a sandwich press.

  • Step 2: For each toastie, place a bread base on a clean work surface and top with a quarter each of the salad leaves, salami, tomato, basil and ricotta and to with remaining bread and repeat to make 4 in total.

  • Step 3: Cook in sandwich press, in batches, for 4 minutes or until heated and toasted and cut in half and serve.
