Step 1: Heat oil in a large saucepan over moderate heat and add the bacon, garlic, onion and paprika and cook and stir for 3 minutes or until bacon is browned.
Step 2: Add passata, the boiling water and crumbled stock cubes and bring to the boil and then reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 5 minutes and then stir in beans.
Step 3: Ladle soup into bowls and serve with toast triangles.
