Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 10 ounces espresso (or strong black coffee)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 1/2 ounces liqueur (Amaretto)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine the ingredients in a sml saucepan over med heat. Bring to a slow boil, then reduce heat to low & cook for 10-12 min until thickened. Test by placing a sml amt on a chilled plate – If it thickens, it’s ready. Cool before use as your fantasies dictate.

  • Step 2: NOTE #1: Frankly, estimating the # of servings is a little problematic. JO said 6 when he applied it to his panna cotta, so I went w/that. BUT I'd expect the yield to be more servings & largely a reflection of individual usage.

  • Step 3: NOTE #2: When making my choices in the "DIET" section, 3 options were not enough. I opted to ck No Eggs & Non-Dairy, but this recipe is LOW just about everything so ck the Nutritional Data if that's relevant to you.
