Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 tablespoon oil ( canola)
  • 1 yellow onion, finely chopped (medium onion)
  • 6 ounces bacon (Jones Canadian Bacon, cut into 1/2-inch strips)
  • 336 grams Tater Tots (4 cups frozen, thawed)
  • 6 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup half and half cream
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350F. In a lrg skillet, heat oil over med heat. Add onion & cook (stirring) for 2-3 min or until tender. Add Canadian bacon & cook 1-2 min or until lightly browned, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.

  • Step 2: Line bottom of a greased 11 x 7-in. baking dish w/Tater Tots & top w/Canadian bacon mixture.

  • Step 3: In a lrg bowl, whisk eggs, sour cream, cream & seasonings until blended. Stir in cheese & pour over the top of the casserole.

  • Step 4: Bake (uncovered) for 35-40 min or until golden brown.
