Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 146 grams peanuts (unsalted, 1 cup)
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder (ground Thai Chili powder or southwestern chili powder)
  • 2 tablespoons sliced green onions
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro (fresh)
  • 1/4 cup water, hot
  • 1 tablespoon chopped mint leaves (fresh)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large mortar and pestle or a food processor, grind nuts until small, until the size of ice cream topping.

  • Step 2: Add green onions,and mash or process until falling apart.

  • Step 3: Add sweet chili sauce,chili powder, lime juice and cilantro.

  • Step 4: Add hot water to thin out to consistency of sauce.

  • Step 5: Tear mint leaves in pieces and add to mixture.

  • Step 6: Stir and serve with spring rolls.
