Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 1/4 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 cup water, warm
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil (light)
  • 1 packet (160 gram) Cheese Stringers
  • 1/3 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup grated pizza cheese (plus)
  • 1 cup grated pizza cheese ( extra)
  • 125 grams sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup capsicum (char-grilled)
  • 50 grams pepperoni (shaved)
  • 1/2 cup artichokes (halved marinated artichokes)
  • Baby rocket leaves, to serve

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 220C (200C fan forced)

  • Step 2: Grease 2 pizza trays.

  • Step 3: Place flour in a bowl and make a well at the centre and add the water and oil and mix to a soft dough.

  • Step 4: Turn out onto a lightly floured work surface and knead until smooth and then divide into 2 equal portions and then roll each portion out to a 25cm disc and place on the prepared trays.

  • Step 5: For each pizza base, place stringers around the rim and brush edge with a little water and fold edge of dough over cheese stringers pressing to seal and bake for 5 minutes or until lightly golden.

  • Step 6: Spread sauce over pizza bases and top with pizza cheese, mushrooms, capsicum, pepperoni and artichoke and sprinkle with extra cheese and bake for 10 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese has melted and serve topped with the rocket.
