Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 42 ounces avocados (7 medium ripe avocados, peeled and halved, reserve pits)
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1/2 tablespoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped yellow onion
  • 1 whole lime (juice from 1 large fresh lime)
  • 10 to 11 ounces grape tomatoes (halved, 1 pint)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (white cheddar)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Lay avocado halves on a large plate and sprinkle with seasoned salt, crushed garlic, and a light sprinkle of sea salt.

  • Step 2: Coarsely mash avocados, leaving some chunks, with a fork or potato masher.

  • Step 3: Add remaining ingredients and mix gently, but well.

  • Step 4: Place reserved avocado pits around and gently push into guacamole. This helps keep it from turning brown.

  • Step 5: Serve immediately or store in a tightly covered container until ready to serve. Don't make this too far ahead of time, even with the lime juice and avocado pits it will begin to brown after a short time.
