  • 3 to 3 1/2 pounds chicken legs
  • 1 tablespoon dried Italian herbs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • Cayenne pepper (to you liking)
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder (you may replace with salt)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Wash then paper towel-dry chicken legs. Prepare a cookie sheet then line with foil; top with a wire rack.

  • Step 2: When ready to bake, preheat oven to 425°.

  • Step 3: Combine all spices together.

  • Step 4: Place the chicken in a large bowl, then drizzle with oil. Using your clean hands combine with the spices. Place in refrigerater for a few hours.

  • Step 5: Line a baking pan with foil; top with a wire rack. Arrange chicken legs out in a single layer.

  • Step 6: Bake chicken legs until cooked through and skin is crispy, about 45-50 minutes-rotate wings half way through-roughly 20 minutes.

  • Step 7: Remove and serve with your favorite hot sauce if desired.
