Step 1: Heat oven to 350.
Step 2: In saucepan, cook rhubarb 1/2 cup sugar and water.
Step 3: Cream remains sugar and shortening until creamy.
Step 4: Add rest of the ingredients then mix. Pour into greased 8x8 pan pour over the rhubarb mixture.
Step 5: Bake 40 minutes.
