  • 500 grams lean ground beef (1 pound)
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup (tomato ketchup)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Cracker Barrel 4 cheese Italian cheese , divided)
  • 2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 cup panko crumbs
  • 4 (6 ounces) bread buns (burger buns)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix egg, meat, ketchup, 1/2 of the cheese, Worcestershire sauce, and panko crumbs.

  • Step 2: Shape into 4 patties 1/2 inch thick.

  • Step 3: Place patties in a nonstick skillet, medium heat; cover, cook 5 minutes.

  • Step 4: Turn patties over.

  • Step 5: Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

  • Step 6: Cook uncovered for another 5 minutes or until patties are cooked through (160F).

  • Step 7: Serve in buns.

  • Step 8: Add your favorite toppings.
