  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
  • 24 ounces salmon (4 fillets, 6-ounce)
  • 3/4 teaspoon garam masala
  • 5/8 teaspoon kosher salt, divided
  • 3 ounces Greek yogurt (plain, 1/3 cup)
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, thinly sliced)
  • 2 ounces creme fraiche (or sour cream, 2 tablespoons)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 lemon, whole (cut into wedges)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 teaspoons oil to the pan; swirl to coat.

  • Step 2: Sprinkle the fillets evenly with garam masala and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add the fillets to the skillet, skin side down. Cook 7 minutes; turn over, and cook 1 minute or until the salmon reaches your desired degree of doneness.

  • Step 3: Combine the remaining oil, salt, yogurt, green onions, creme fraiche, and lime juice in a small bowl, stirring with a whixk.

  • Step 4: Serve the yogurt mixture with fillets. Serve with the lemon wedges.
