The ingredients are:

  • 2 pounds yellow onions (4 onions, sliced)
  • 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • Salt dash
  • Pepper, dash
  • FOR TOPPING
  • 1 cup crushed cracker crumbs (saltine crackers)
  • 2 teaspoons butter

How to Make

  • Step 1: Saute the onions in butter until translucent.

  • Step 2: In greased 9x13 casserole dish, put 1/2 onions 1/2 cheese and 1/2 topping.

  • Step 3: Mix eggs with cream and seasonings. Pour over onions.

  • Step 4: Bake 40 minutes at 375 until done.
