  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne

  • 4 tablespoon oil
  • 2 yellow onions (sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • FOR SIDE
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 4 slices (360 grams) naan bread

How to Make

  • Step 1: Onions mixture.

  • Step 2: Cook onions on low for 30 minutes.

  • Step 3: In another pan, bring lentil mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes.

  • Step 5: Top with lentils then top with onion mixture.

  • Step 6: Serve with naan.
