Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 package (18.25 ounce) lemon cake mix
  • 1/2 cup oil (vegetable oil)
  • 1 package (3.4 ounce) instant vanilla pudding mix (or lemon)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

How to Make

  • Step 1: Beat cake mix, oil, pudding mix, sour cream, lemon extract and eggs together 2 minutes with electric mixer. In separate bowl mix together sugar, cinnamon and pecans. Place 1/2 cake mix in *greased tube pan. Batter will be thick, so spread evenly with a spoon. Place 1/2 of sugar mixture on top of cake mixture. Top with remaining cake batter, then top with remaining sugar mixture. Bake at 325°F* for 45* minutes.

  • Step 2: *Or you can put it in 2 8" x 8" baking dishes and bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes* Test with a toothpick.
