  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt (for garnish)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 325°F.

  • Step 2: Stir together brown sugar, tahini, butter, and eggs in a large bowl until smooth. Stir in flour, kosher salt, and baking soda.

  • Step 3: Spread mixture in a parchment paper-lined 8-inch square baking pan coated with cooking spray. To make spreading easier, use a sheet of parchment paper over the batter and use your hands to spread it. Sprinkle batter with sea salt.

  • Step 4: Bake in preheated oven until browned and cooked through, about 25 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Cut into squares.
