Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup oil (walnut oil)
  • 2 tablespoons creme fraiche
  • 1 teaspoon dijon musard
  • Kosher salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 pound lettuce (such as Bibb lettuce) torn into large pieces
  • 1 head celery (inner stems and leaves only, stems sliced and leaves left whole)
  • 1 1/2 cups grapes (green grapes, halved)
  • Sea salt
  • 3 ounces blue cheese (Stilton blue cheese or danish kornbloomst or your favorite blue cheese)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a small bowl or jar whisk the apple cider vinegar with the oils, creme fruit and mustard until smooth and season with salt and pepper.

  • Step 2: In a skillet heat the walnuts, tossing occasionally until toasted (6 minutes).

  • Step 3: Arrange the lettuces on a large serving platter, followed by the celery, warm walnuts and grapes. Drizzle the salad with the vinaigrette and season with sea salt and pepper and top with blue cheese.
