Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 6 ounces sliced bacon (6 slices applewood smoked bacon)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 4 ounces sliced bread (4 slices, 1/2 inch thick white bread)
  • 4 leaves radicchio
  • 6 ounces cooked turkey meat (thinly sliced)
  • 4 teaspoons butter (room temperature, divided)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a skillet over medium het cook the bacon until crisp; transfer to paper towels . Pour fat off from skillet but reserve skillet.

  • Step 2: In a bowl mash the mayonnaise and blue cheese together; season with pepper. Place bread on a work surface. Divide cheese mixture among bread slices, spreading evenly. Divide bacon, radicchio and turkey between two bread slices. Top with remaining bread, cheese side down. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in reserved skillet over medium heat. Place sandwiches in skillet. Spread t teaspoons butter on top of pieces of bread. Cover with led that is slightly smaller than skillet. Cook sandwiches until lightly browned (4 minutes per side).
