Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3/4 ounce dried porcini mushrooms
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 1/2 cups bread stuffing (leftover)
  • 1 cup grated Gruyere cheese
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Butter 11 z 7 x 2 inch glass baking dish.

  • Step 3: Working in batches grind the porcini in spice grinder.

  • Step 4: In a large bowl whisk milk and next 3 ingredients (-pepper). Stir in stuffing and ground porcini, breaking up any clumps. Transfer mixture to prepared dish. Sprinkle cheese over stuffing mixture. Bake until puffed in center and cheese is brown in spots (45 minutes). Sprinkle with parsley.
