Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 medium (24 ounces) potatoes (I like russet or yukon gold or mixture of both)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • Black pepper (generous grinding of, to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (snipped)
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese (or shredded)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350.

  • Step 2: Peel and cut potatoes into strips as for thick french fries, place in the centre of buttered foil large enough to make a packet, fold up edges and pour cream over potatoes.

  • Step 3: Add butter, salt and pepper, parsley and top with cheese.

  • Step 4: Bring up edges and form package sealing edges really well, place on cookie sheet.

  • Step 5: Bake in oven at 350 or place on barbecue.

  • Step 6: Bake for about 40 to 50 minutes or until done.
