Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 250 gram butter, softened
  • 110 grams caster sugar (1/2 cup)
  • 200 grams sweetened condensed milk
  • 335 grams all-purpose flour (sifted, 2 1/4 cups plain)
  • 200 grams milk chocolate (bits)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 180C.

  • Step 2: Grease and line 3 baking trays with baking paper.

  • Step 3: Use an electric mixer to beat the butter, sugar and condensed milk in a bowl on high speed until pale and creamy and then reduce speed to low and add the flour, in batches, beating after each addition until dough just comes together.

  • Step 4: Stir in choc bits and then roll tablespoonfuls of mixture into ball and place on the prepare3d trays, allowing room for spreading and then use you fingertips to flatten slightly.

  • Step 5: Bake, in batches, for 15 minutes or until light golden.

  • Step 6: Set aside on the trays for 5 minutes to cool before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
