Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • FOR PANCAKES
  • 3/4 cup flour (gluten free)
  • 2 large bananas (ripe)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon maple extract
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (or to taste)
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • Salt, dash
  • FOR TOPPING
  • 2 whole bananas (coin sliced)
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Maple syrup - enough to coat bananas/walnuts and to taste

How to Make

  • TO MAKE THE PANCAKES

  • Step 1: Mash bananas, mix in eggs, stir well. Add rest of wet ingredients, stir/whisk well. Add in dry ingredients stir until well incorporated.

  • Step 2: Heat griddle, lightly grease pan or use Pam. Pour 1/4 cup batter per pancake. Cook until pancakes start to bubble and turn brown on bottom, turn. Cook until golden brown. (Time will depend on griddle heat).

  • TO MAKE THE TOPPING

  • Step 3: Butter finished pancake, top with sliced bananas, walnuts, maple syrup to taste.
