  • 136 grams tomatillos (4 medium)
  • 1/2 cup chopped white onion (coarsely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1 garlic clove, coarsely chopped
  • 1 serrano chile (stemmed and coarsely chopped)
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Remove the husks from the tomatillos; rinse under cold water. Quarter the tomatillos; place in a blender.
