  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup apple sauce (unsweetened0
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 medium eggs

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  • Step 2: Add eggs and vanilla and beat thoroughly.

  • Step 3: Add sifted dry ingredients in thirds with the apple sauce, beating until smooth after each addition.

  • Step 4: Stir in pecans.

  • Step 5: Drop from a teaspoon onto greased sheet(s), leaving about 2" between cookies. You might need 3 sheets.

  • Step 6: Bake at 375'-400' for 8-10 minutes or until delicately browned.
