Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup (pure, not pancake syrup)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon adobo sauce (from canned chipotle chiles)
  • 4 fillets (24 ounce) salmon (6 ounces each)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a pice dish whisk together the marinade ingredients (syrup - adobo sauce) and then add salmon; turn to coat and then let marinate for 30 minutes. drain marinade into saucepan.

  • Step 2: Heat a skillet over medium heat; add salmon and cook until charred on outside and opaque in center (3-5 minutes per side). While salmon is cooking boil the marinade until reduce to 1/4 cup glaze (4-5 minutes).

  • Step 3: Place one salmon fillet on each of 4 plates and drizzle with glaze.
