Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs (skinless, boneless)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons old fashioned grainy mustard
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black Pepper
  • 8 cups green beans (washed and trimmed)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (extra virgin)
  • Sea salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place the water, Dijon mustard, grainy mustard, maple syrup, basil, paprika, onion powder, salt and pepper in a large re-sealable plastic bag and mix well; add the chicken and allow marinating in refrigerator overnight.

  • Step 2: Pour the contents of plastic bag in a crock pot, cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.

  • Step 3: Just before serving place the green beans in a pot of water and simmer for about 5 minutes, drain and toss in olive oil and season with a bit of sea salt and pepper.

  • Step 4: Divide the green beans between 4 plates and top with maple mustard chicken.

  • Step 5: Enjoy!
