Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese (GRATED not shredded, 8 ounces, see note above)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper (Cayenne)
  • Note: you can tweak the amount of cayenne to your liking. Some like it HOT!
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Rice Krispies cereal

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350F.

  • Step 2: In a large bowl, combine all ingredients EXCEPT Rice Krispies. Mix until it forma a ball that slightly sticks together and incorporates all of the flour. It's easiest to use your hands for this!

  • Step 3: Gently fold in the Rice Krispies.

  • Step 4: Shape into one-inch balls. Place the balls one inch apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Use a fork to flatten each ball in a criss-cross fashion (like peanut butter cookies).

  • Step 5: Bake for 15 minutes or until firm. Remove from oven and cool IN THE PAN over a wire rack. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
