Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 whole pineapple (cut into 8 wedges and cored)
  • 1/2 cup rum (dark)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce (Frank's red hot)
  • Vanilla ice cream

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a 3-quart saucepan, combine Worcestershire, honey, butter, sugar, rum and the Red Hot sauce.

  • Step 2: Bring to a full boil, stirring often.

  • Step 3: Simmer over medium-low heat until sauce is slightly thickened, stirring often

  • Step 4: Remove from heat and cool.

  • Step 5: Brush pineapple with some of the sauce.

  • Step 6: Grill pineapple over high heat on a greased rack for 5 minutes or until glazed, turing and basting often.

  • Step 7: Serve pineapple with ice cream and remaining sauce.
