Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • FOR MEATLOAF
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 3/4 cup oats (regular oats, uncooked)
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped (large onion)
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish (prepared)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • FOR SAUCE
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish (prepared)
  • 2 teaspoons mustard (spicy brown mustard)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine the meatloaf ingredients in a large bowl, mixing well. Form mixture into a loaf, and place in a 9x5x3 inch loafpan.

  • Step 2: Combine sauce ingredients in a small bowl, stirring well. Spoon half the sauce mixture over the top of the meatloaf. Bake uncovered, at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.

  • Step 3: Spoon the remaining sauce mix over the meatloaf, and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Remove to a serving platter.
