Step 1: Crush blueberries in bottom of large saucepan.
Step 2: Pit cherries, mash, and add to blueberries.
Step 3: Add water and bring to a boil.
Step 4: Allow to simmer for 10 minutes keeping pan covered.
Step 5: Remove from heat and place in jelly bag and allow juices to drip.
Step 6: Combine recovered juices with sugar in a deep saucepan and mix well till sugar is dissolved.
Step 7: Bring to a boil and add pectin.
Step 8: Hold at the boil for 1 full minute while stirring constantly.
Step 9: Skim off foam and pour into hot, sterile jelly jars and seal.
Step 10: Process in water bath 5 minutes.
