Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 500 grams ground chicken
  • 2 teaspoons ginger, grated
  • 2 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 red chilli, chopped (or to your taste)
  • 2 tablespoon coriander, stems and leaves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoon fish sauce
  • FOR GREEN CURRY SAUCE
  • 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable oil)
  • 2 tablespoons green curry paste
  • 152 grams coconut cream (1/2 cup)
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon palm sugar
  • 2 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves

How to Make

  • Step 1: For the meatballs, simply combine the ingredients together and with well hands divide into four big meatballs.

  • Step 2: For the sauce/broth heat the oil in a medium pot and add the curry paste and cook over a medium heat until it starts to smell aromatic and then add the coconut cream, stock, sugar and fish sauce and then the meatballs and simmer very gently for 6 minutes, covered.

  • Step 3: Now add the lime juice to the sauce and then serve each meatball in a bowl surrounded by the broth and finished with a scatter of coriander leaves and as an optional cooked rice can be served on the side.
