Step 1: Preheat oven to 325°.
Step 2: In a large bowl, mix the first six ingredients.
Step 3: Stir in egg whites, corn syrup and vanilla until blended.
Step 4: Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets.
Step 5: Bake 15-20 minutes or until set and dry to the touch.
Step 6: Cool on pans 5 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
Step 7: Dip bottom of each cookie in melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
Step 8: Place on waxed paper; let stand until set.
