  • 1 box (18 ounce) chocolate chunk brownie mix
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 cup oil (vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 can (13.4 ounce) dulce de leche
  • FOR TOPPING
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup whipping cream
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons butter
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 350.

  • Step 2: Grease a 13x9 baking pan

  • Step 3: In a large bowl, combine brownie mix, water, oil, and eggs, mix well. Spread batter in pan.

  • Step 4: Drop dulce de leche by tablespoonfuls over batter and use a knife to swirl dulce de leche through the batter.

  • Step 5: Bake 35 minutes, or until firm when touched 2 inches from the edge.

  • Step 6: Cool completely, approximately 1 hour.

  • Step 7: To make the topping, heat chocolate chips, cream and butter on high in microwave for 30 second intervals, stirring after each 30 seconds until melted and smooth. Refrigerate 30 minutes.

  • Step 8: Spread chocolate topping evenly over brownies and sprinkle with toffee bits.

  • Step 9: Refrigerate 2 hours or until chocolate topping is set.

  • Step 10: Cut into 8 rows by 4 rows.
