Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 box (6.25 ounce) brownie mix (Supreme Brownie mix, with chocolate syrup pouch, 1 pound)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/3 cup oil (vegetable oil)
  • 3 large eggs
  • FOR FILLING
  • 3 cups coconut, flaked
  • 1 cup slivered almonds (toasted)
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 can (14 ounce) sweetened condensed milk
  • FOR DRIZZLE
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon oil (vegetable oil)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Brownies 1 Heat oven to 350°F.

  • Step 2: Grease bottom only of 13x9-inch pan .

  • Step 3: Make brownie batter as directed on brownie mix box. Spread batter in pan.

  • Step 4: Bake 26 to 30 or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean.

  • Step 5: Meanwhile, in large bowl, mix filling ingredients.

  • Step 6: Remove brownies from oven.

  • Step 7: Carefully spoon and spread filling evenly over brownies.

  • Step 8: Bake 15 minutes longer.

  • Step 9: Cool completely, about 1 1/2 hours.

  • Step 10: In small microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips and 1/2 teaspoon oil on High 30 to 40 seconds, stirring every 10 seconds, until chips are melted.

  • Step 11: Spoon into resealable food-storage plastic bag; seal bag. Cut small tip from corner of bag; drizzle chocolate over filling.

  • Step 12: Cut 8 rows by 6 rows.
