The ingredients are:
  • FOR COOKIES
  • 1 pouch (1.5 ounce) sugar cookie mix (1 pound)
  • 1/2 cup butter (or margarine, softened)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup dried fruit (tropical three-fruit mix)
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • FOR GLAZE
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon coconut extract
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons milk

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 375°F.

  • Step 2: In large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter and egg until soft dough forms.

  • Step 3: Stir in fruit mix and coconut until well mixed.

  • Step 4: On ungreased cookie sheets, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart.

  • Step 5: Bake 8 to 9 minutes or until golden brown around edges. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.

  • Step 6: In small bowl, stir powdered sugar, extract and enough milk until glaze is spreadable. Spread glaze over tops of cooled cookies.
