Step 1: Preheat oven to 350.
Step 2: In a mixing bowl beat butter until fluffy.
Step 3: Add brown sugar, baking soda, and salt. Beat until combined.
Step 4: Beat in egg and vanilla.
Step 5: Add melted chocolate.
Step 6: Beat in sour cream.
Step 7: Beat in flour.
Step 8: Drop by slightly rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Step 9: Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are firm.
Step 10: Let cool on pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Step 11: To make Frosting; Beat butter until fluffy. Add 1 cup powdered sugar and cocoa and beat. Beat in milk and vanilla. Add in the remaining 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar and beat till smooth. Add more milk if it is too thick to spread.
