  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate chips (1 1/3 cups)
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits
  • 1 cup sliced almonds (chopped, toasted)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In large microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips uncovered on High about 1 minute or until softened; stir until smooth. If not completely softened, continue microwaving 15 seconds at a time, stirring after each microwave time, until smooth.

  • Step 2: Stir whipping cream into chocolate until very smooth and glossy.

  • Step 3: Stir in orange peel and toffee bits.

  • Step 4: Cover and refrigerate about 2 hours or until firm.

  • Step 5: Place almonds in small bowl.

  • Step 6: Shape chocolate mixture into 1-inch balls. Immediately roll balls in almonds, pressing to coat.

  • Step 7: Place on ungreased cookie sheet or in paper candy cups.

  • Step 8: Refrigerate about 30 minutes or until firm.

  • Step 9: Remove from refrigerator 20 minutes before serving.
