Ingredients

  • 1 package (7.2 ounces) fluffy white frosting mix
  • 1/3 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup water, boiling
  • 1 package (16 ounces) icing sugar
  • 1 cup salted peanuts (chopped, Spanish peanuts)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine dry frosting mix with corn syrup, vanilla and boiling water in a mixer bowl.

  • Step 2: Beat on highest speed until stiff peaks form.

  • Step 3: Transfer to large mixer bowl and on low speed or by hand, gradually blend in icing sugar.

  • Step 4: Stir in nuts.

  • Step 5: Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.

  • Step 6: When outside of candy feels firm, turn over. Dry at least 12 hours.
