  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup butter

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place popped corn in a large bowl

  • Step 2: Combine sugars, corn syrup, water, vinegar and salt in a large sauce pan and bring to a boil over medium high heat, stirring frequently

  • Step 3: Cook stirring constantly to 260 on a candy thermometer

  • Step 4: Reduce heat to low, stir in butter till melted

  • Step 5: Pour syrup in a thin stream over popped corn in bow, stirring till well coated

  • Step 6: Let cool slightly

  • Step 7: Butter hands and shape mixture into 3 inch balls. Place on waxed paper
