  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 5 tablespoons whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch

How to Make

  • Step 1: Beat all ingredients together, till Heat ungreased krumkake iron over medium high heat.

  • Step 2: Beat all ingredients until smooth.

  • Step 3: Test the temperature by sprinkling iron with a few drops of water, if they skitter around it is ready

  • Step 4: Lightly brush inside top and bottom of iron with shortening or vegetable oil.

  • Step 5: Drop 1/2 tablespoon batter onto iron; close gently.

  • Step 6: Cook about 15 seconds on each side or until light golden brown. Keep iron over heat at all times.

  • Step 7: Remove cookie with knife.

  • Step 8: Immediately roll cookie around roller or handle of large wooden spoon. Cool on wire rack.
