Step 1: With a hand mixer cream the shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in Molasses, water, flour, salt, baking soda, ginger, nutmeg and allspice. Cover and chill 2 to 3 hours.
Step 2: Heat oven to 375.
Step 3: Roll dough 1/4 inch thick and cut with gingerbread boy cutters.
Step 4: Decorate with bits of candied fruit and string licorice for eyes, noses, clothing, etc.
Step 5: Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
Step 6: Immediately remove from baking sheet and cool.
Step 7: Decorate further with decorators icing.
