Step 1: Combine shortening, ,peanut butter, sugars, and egg
Step 2: Blend in flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt
Step 3: Cover and chill
Step 4: Heat oven to 375
Step 5: Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place 3 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet
Step 6: With fork dipped in flour,flatten balls in crisscross pattern
Step 7: Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set, but not hard
