Step 1: Heat oven to 350F
Step 2: Cream butter and sugar
Step 3: Work in flour, if dough is too crumbly, add 1-2 tablespoons soft butter
Step 4: Roll out to 1/2 to 1/3 inch thick on a lightly floured surface
Step 5: Cut into desired shapes
Step 6: Place 1/2 inch apart on ungreased baking sheet
Step 7: Bake 20 minutes or until set
Step 8: Immediately remove from baking sheet
