  • 3 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 cup yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 jar (28 ounce) pasta sauce
  • 2 jars (9 ounces) sliced mushrooms (4 1/2 ounce each jar, drained)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Pepper, dash
  • 1 package (16 ounce) egg noodles (wide noodles, cooked and drained)
  • 2 packages (7 ounces) pepperoni, sliced (3 1/2 ounce, each)
  • 8 ounce shredded cheddar cheese (2 cups)
  • 8 ounce shredded low-fat mozzarella cheese (part-skim, 2 cups)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a Dutch oven, brown beef and onion over medium heat until eat is no longer pink; drain. Add the spaghetti sauce, mushrooms, salt garlic powder, oregano and pepper; heat through

  • Step 2: Spoon half of mixture into a 5-qt slow cooker. Top with half of the noodles, pepperoni and cheeses.

  • Step 3: Repeat layers. Cover an cook on low for 4-5 hours or until cheese is melted.
