Step 1: Preheat oven to 200C/180C fan forced.
Step 2: Cut cob loaf crossways about 3cm from the top and reserve the lid.
Step 3: Remove centre of bread to create a hole the same size as the brie.
Step 4: You can discard centre of the bread or you can use the inside of the bread to dip into the brie when serving, if you like.
Step 5: Place cranberry sauce on the base and around sides of the hole and top with the brie and sprinkle with thyme and season with salt and pepper.
Step 6: Replace lid and then enclose in foil and place on a baking tray and bake for 35 minutes or until cheese has melted.
Step 7: Remove from oven and stand for 5 minutes and then remove and discard the foil and sprinkle with almonds and drizzle with hone and serve.
