  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped almonds
  • FOR COCONUT-LEMON TOPPING
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup coconut, shredded
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 cup raisins, chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 350.

  • Step 2: Mix butter, shortening, and sugar. Add in flour. Press evenly into the bottom of a 13x9x2 inch baking pan.

  • Step 5: To make topping beat eggs, add remaining ingredients and mix.
