  • 2 egg yolks, slightly beaten

  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds (blanched, toasted)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Thoroughly mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in a saucepan.

  • Step 2: Stir milk into egg yolks and mix well.

  • Step 4: Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.

  • Step 5: Boil and stir 1 minute.
