Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 137 grams Oreo cookies (Original cookies, crushed)
  • 40 grams butter, melted
  • 500 grams cream cheese, softened (Philadelphia brand recommended)
  • 165 grams caster sugar
  • 2 teaspoon gelatin (dissolved in 1/4 cup 60ml boiling water)
  • 220 grams white chocolate (melts, melted and cooled slightly, Cadbury brand recommended)
  • 250 ml heavy cream (lightly whipped, 1 cup)
  • 150 grams milk chocolate (melts, melted, Cadbury brand recommended)
  • Cadbury with Oreo eggs, to decorate
  • 6 Original (68 grams) Oreo cookies (extra, broken, optional)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine the cookie crumbs and butter in a bowl and press into the base of a greased and lined 22cm springform pan and chill until firm.

  • Step 2: Using an electric mixer to beat cream cheese and sugar in a bowl until smooth and then beat in gelatine mixture and white chocolate, then fold in cream and pour over the base and chill for 3 hours or until set.

  • Step 3: Place the cheesecake on a serving plate and drizzle over the milk chocolate and decorate with eggs and extra cookies, if desired and then set aside until set.
