Step 1: Dissolve yeast in Warm water.
Step 2: Add buttermilk, eggs, 2 1/2 cup flour, butter, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix till smooth.
Step 3: Add enough remaining dough to make dough easily handled. Dough will remain soft and slightly sticky.
Step 4: Turn out onto well floured surface and knead 5 minutes.
Step 5: Shape dough into 1 1/2 inch balls and dip into butter.
Step 6: Combine sugar and coffee.
Step 7: Roll dough balls into coffee-sugar mixture.
Step 8: Place dough balls in a greased tube pan.
Step 9: Let rise until doubled.
Step 10: Bake at 375 60 minutes.
Step 11: If browning too quickly, cover with aluminum foil.
Step 12: Invert pan onto plate so syrup can drizzle over cake.
Step 13: To serve break apart with 2 forks.
