Step 1: Beat yolks in a bowl or top of a double boiler until thick.
Step 2: Beat in hot syrup.
Step 3: Place top of double boiler or bowl over simmering water and cook, beating constantly until slightly thickened.
Step 4: Cool.
Step 5: Beat cream until it forms stiff peaks and fold into the yolk mixture.
Step 6: Fold in half of the berries.
Step 7: Pour into 1 1/2 quart mold form.
Step 8: Freeze overnight.
Step 9: Before serving garnish with the remaining berries.
