Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 packages (1/4 ounce) active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup water, warm
  • 2 tablespoons caraway seed
  • 16 ounces creamed cottage cheese (2 cups)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 large eggs (slightly beaten)
  • 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water..Add Caraway seed.

  • Step 2: Warm cheese till just lukewarm.

  • Step 3: Add Cheese, sugar, salt, soda and eggs to yeast mixture.

  • Step 4: Slowly add flour, mixing till dough balls and cleans bowl.

  • Step 5: Let rise, covered, till double.

  • Step 6: Stir down and divide between 24 greased muffin tins.

  • Step 7: Cover and rise till doubled.

  • Step 8: Preheat oven to 350F.

  • Step 9: Bake 25 minutes.

  • Step 10: Brush with butter.
